Ryland Brown

Ryland began dancing at age 10, taking a Hip-Hop class with Miss Debi for some fun and exercise! He quickly realized that dance was a passion of his and joined Company Two that summer, taking all styles of dance.  Ryland was in Company Two for two years before moving up to Company One, where he currently dances at Guiding Steps. Ryland has competed at competition-winning first place in his category and the Judges Choice Award, performed at Disney with the companies, competed at the Washington County Fair, and various performances in the community with the studio. This past fall, Ryland took intense workshop classes at Juilliard School of Dance in New York City.  Recently, Ryland has performed in a professional performance, Charles Weidman’s Christmas Oratorio, and The Nutcracker at The Egg in Albany.  He will also be part of the Empire State Youth Dance Ensemble 2023. Ryland enjoys student teaching and his favorite styles of dance are Contemporary, Ballet, and Modern.
