- What is my child required to wear? (Most Popular Listed)
- ALL - Students must have hair pulled back/up. No jewelry is permitted.

- KinderDance - Formal 2: Students will need both ballet shoes and tap shoes. Students will need a black or pink leotard and pink tights. A skirt/tutu is optional.
- Mini Acro/Jazz & Acro in Dance: Students will need a gymnastic leotard, or a leotard and shorts of any color/print.Our Mini Acro & Jazz class will require students to have a tan Jazz shoe. There are NO socks or shoes permitted for Acro in Dance.
- Kidz HipHop: Students may wear athletic shirts, shorts, or pants. Sneakers are required.
- How do I register?

- Visit our website www.guidingsteps.com and find the link to register via our menu. Select the classes of your choice and fill out the information, and then please visit our online store (can be found on our website) and select our one time registration fee.
- How & when do I pay?

- Guiding Steps is offering new payment options for the 2023-2024 dance season! Please see our new payment information document or email jbrownguidingsteps@gmail.com for more information.
- What should my child bring to class?

- We advise all students to bring water, dance attire & shoes to class. Chewing gum and food are not permitted for dancers while dancing.
- When do we order costumes?

- Guiding Steps places one large costume order for our Spring Show! Students will receive their costume total in January and payments will be due by mid-February. Students will begin receiving their costumes in April. We typically do not order costumes for our Christmas show. Guiding Steps provides costumes and/or asks parents to costume children in little-to-no cost costumes for our Christmas show. Both our Christmas and Spring show dates are yet to be announced.
